Our client is looking for an entry-level Business Applications Developer who will build and enhance their infrastructure to support growing sales, marketing, and finance team. As their Business Applications Developer, you will work with Engineering and Data teams, and play a critical role in developing and configuring business pipelines used by their team to work more efficiently with high quality outputs. The company goals are focused on developing a product and service to improve the financial lives of millions, and business operations directly correlates with this goal. Some of your responsibilities will include: Building custom features into their Salesforce implementation, building integrations with external systems, supporting data needs and assist in the administration and configuration of business systems; helping oversee business application pipelines, their analyses, and data consistency across systems; interfacing with many teams to refine and maintain essential systems and processes to support business team needs; using your fundamental understanding of business data to identify opportunities that will lead to competitive advantages in the market; utilizing your unique technical skills to both configure and develop business applications; and tackling large, complex problems while working independently and as a part of a peer programming environment. Requirements include: a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (OR equivalent experience); experience with developing web-based applications; experience with configuration of business systems (sales/marketing automation, etc.), working knowledge of web development; software development best practices (git, testing/QA, etc); experience with Agile/Scrum methodology; a desire to push oneself to learn and grow on a daily basis; and a desire and ability to receive direct feedback and mentorship. Skills needed include: 2+ years of experience with salesforce application development; Apex and Visualforce experience; deep knowledge of Lead, Account, User objects; experience with Salesforce REST API; experience with administration of Salesforce; salesforce Developer 1, 2 and/or Salesforce Platform App Builder certified; experience with web development frameworks such as Node.js, .NET Core, Java; HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, ES6 experience; experience developing REST APIs; relational databases using SQL; experience with testing (unit, integration, regression, performance); and experience with responsive design and browser testing.
